Trial class

Yes, anybody can join us for a trial class. It doesn’t matter what level, previous experience (or not). All our coaches know how to scale a workout to your ability and we love to help you with that.

A trial class is totally free and without obligation.

You can do so by filling in this form.

At CrossFit Noord you have the ability to do one trial class. There are no exceptions to this.

A trial class you follow along with the regular class. During the introduction course we’ll work in a smaller group with people that have no experience yet in CrossFit. The intensity for the introduction class will be severely lower than a regular class.

We charge our memberships around the first of the month, one month ahead. For example: Around the first of March you pay for the month of March. Our yearly memberships are charged at once, one year ahead.

Cash payment for memberships and prepaid cards is possible, yes. Drop-ins are cash only and paid to the coach that will host class. If you want to pay your membership in cash, please contact us for this matter.

You can change your membership yourself, one month ahead of time. You can do so in SportBit, our registration system. Here you can down- and upgrade. If you can’t figure it out, we’re happy to help you with this.

Yes, of course. Best thing to do is contact us and we’ll figure things out to keep you fit during your time in Groningen.

It could be that you became a member at our gym later in the month. We charge our members around the first of each month, one month ahead. So the amount that’s charged could be from 2 months if this is the case. If this doesn’t add up for you feel free to contact us so we can help you with this.


Yes, sure! During your stay in Groningen you’re more than welcome to do a drop-in at our box. A drop-in is only possible during certain classes and time slots and Open Gym is only possible until 16:30.

The costs for a drop-in are €15,-. When purchasing a T-shirt or other merchandise with a value above €25, a drop-in is free (while supplies last).

Th costs is preferably fulfilled in cash at the counter, to the coach that will host class.

Introduction Course

A trial class you follow along with the regular class. During the introduction course we’ll work in a smaller group with people that have no experience yet in CrossFit. The intensity for the introduction class will be severely lower than a regular class.

To participate in our introduction course you need a prepaid card called ‘Get Started – Introduction Course’. You can find this in our webshop, on the membership page or through this link. You can only use an active membership AFTER you’ve completed the introduction course.

The prepaid card ‘Get Started – Introduction Course’ costs €55,-. This gives you access to our 3 mandatory, small group introduction classes. This also includes administration fees.

If you have experience in CrossFit, then yes you can skip the intro course. Best thing to do is send us an email for this matter so we can make sure that when you sign up, there won’t be any issues and you can use your membership straight away.


CrossFit Noord is located in an industrial park (Zuid-Oost) at Osloweg 29. We’re easy to reach by bike and car.

If you start at Central Station, take the sprinter to Zwolle and get out at Groningen Europapark. From here on you take the bus to Zuidhorn through UMCG and get out at P+R Euroborg P3. From here on it’s a 5 minute walk to the box.

OR: take the ‘OV fiets (bike)’ at central station and be here in 10 minutes.

Yes, free of charge. There’s always a spot available at or around our facility to safely park your car.

Monday through Thursday we open our doors at 06:00 and close at 21:30.

On Friday’s we close at 20:30.

Saturday: 07:45 – 13:30
Sunday: 09:30 – 13:30

Through SportBit, our registration system. Our members can book a spot through SportBit, any class or open gym time slot they wish. Do you want to book a drop-in or trial class? Check this page.

Our members can cancel their reservation up until 2 hours before class. If you cancel after those 2 hours, your credit will get lost but a spot will open up for someone else. We hope that this gives people enough time to plan their schedule and give clarity at least 2 hours in advance to joining a class.

A trial class and/or drop-in can be changed or cancelled through the registration email you’ve been sent upon registering.

Yes, this is possible. Only with an unlimited membership though. You can only participate in one class each day, but you can come and train in Open Gym that day too.


WOD stands for Workout Of the Day. Everyday those WOD’s vary, we do the programming for these workouts ourselves. Some WOD’s will be provided multiple times throughout the year to track your progress by benchmarking.

We offer CrossFit Teens classes for kids between 8-11 years and 12+. For more information on this please contact us.

Yes, throughout our opening hours there will always be a coach present. At least one coach will be hosting a class, if there’s a busy class we’ll work with multiple coaches to maintain consistency in our coaching and your technique.

Level and adaptations (scaling)

Yes, movement during pregnancy will only benefit you! All our coaches are able to help you with changing the workout to your level. Changing a workout to your level is what we call scaling in CrossFit. Do you want some extra information on training during (or after)  your pregnancy? Feel free to contact us about this.

With good communication to the medical specialist who provided your medicine, you should be able to train at our gym. Up front we could discuss things we have to take into account before you start training at our gym, so we know better how to scale the workouts for you.

Our WOD’s are for all our members. Young, old, short, long, experienced or inexperienced. Regardless of training back ground you can come train at our box. Our coaches will guide you through any adaptions you need to to in order to keep or improve your level of fitness.

Surely this doesn’t matter! Our goal is to help you get fitter, and doing so during the best hour of your day.
